Quaker Life have produced a new resource designed to help meetings explore fresh and creative approaches to being a Quaker community that is more open and accessible and to increase our visibility within the wider community, and how we might create transformational relationships with other community groups. It encourages Friends to engage with some stimulating and challenging questions about how we might find new ways of making Quaker worship and community more open and accessible in our localities, especially among those who currently find it inaccessible.
The Quaker Life resource which is called "New Expressions of Quaker community" is designed to be worked though in three sessions:
1. My journey into Friends,
2. Understanding ourselves and the communities around us,
3. Shaping possibilities for the future.
Please get in touch if you are interested.

Becoming Friends is a course for those who are new to Quakerism, which combines opportunities to find out about the Quaker way and reflect on your own spiritual journey with optional support from experienced Quaker 'companions'.
We held the introductory session of this course Friday the 15th of April and have decided to meet every two or three weeks throughout the summer until the end of August (with a mid-term review). We're all aware that not everyone can make every session but the course is flexible enough to accommodate other commitments.
If you would like any further information about this course there is a free demonstration online at http://moodle.woodbrooke.org.uk or contact Linda Green if you need to know more about our local arrangements.
